I'd say the offense is struggling in general. I could take them all out right now.

I'm more concerned with how we perform as opposed to outcome. If we get out of the gate and are doing things well and we end up losing some of those games, that's okay because that's what you build on. If you come out sloppy and win a game, that's going to come back to hurt you.

I keep telling our power hitters not to try to hit home runs because actually when you hit a home run, it is like hitting errors, so we need to focus on the process of having good at bats and the power will take care of itself.

They deserved actually to win that game. But we came up with something they couldn't come up with, so we won it.

That's taking the pressure off the pitching. If the defense makes plays, the pitchers are rarely in a situation where they need to strike people out, but it's a tandem.

That's something for you guys to keep track of, not me. If you didn't tell me that, I wouldn't even know it. I'm just trying to win games every time we step on the field.

Danielle has played great. She has just done everything we have asked her to do. She's a great hitter, outfielder and contributor.

It's really hard when you get 12 hits in the first game, and you think you're going to do the same in the second game. You need to prepare. The second game is always different than the first game.
